Antelope Audio started 2015 on a high note, engaging its global customer base at two of the world’s most important trade fairs: The Consumer ElectronicShow (CES) in Las Vegas and The NAMM Show just outside Los Angeles.
At CES, Antelope shared a demonstration suite with premier loudspeaker manufacturer Amphion, highlighting the latest full-production edition of Rubicon: the world’s most technologically advanced AD/DA clock/converter, featuring a rubidium atomic clock. Antelope also had its Zodiac Platinum + 10M converter / clocking combination on hand as well, providing a delectable aural treat for visitors.
Antelope’s highly distinguished guests from the media included Bloomberg,Ubergizmo, Stereophile and many others; some of the commonly uttered phrases in our room included, ‘stunning detail’, ‘finely tuned’, ‘spacious soundstage’ and ‘atomic what?!’ While all of the 160,000 registered attendees of CES did not visit the Antelope suite, those that did, represented the ‘audiophile elite’ and left the room with jaws dropped…following an enlightened sensory experience.
Two weeks later, the Antelope crew moved into ‘professional mode’ – setting its sights on NAMM 2015: The largest music industry convention in the world. With a new, prominent booth location in Hall A, directly beside the movers and shakers and other gliterrati of the pro audio industry, Antelope proudly placed its flag in the ground — or its booth on the floor — with several new products: the Pure2 mastering converter, the MP32 multi channel preamplifier and the Satori monitor controller. To cap off the exhausting — yet rewarding — festivities at The NAMM Show, Antelope’sZen Studio was honored at the TEC Awards dinner as a nominee for Outstanding Technical Achievement.
Both CES and NAMM afforded Antelope an occasion to say ‘hello’ and get closer to customers. Shows such as this provide an invaluable opportunity to consider user feedback and suggestions, so the endless cycle of creativity and innovation may continue.
To be continued…
